About Stephanie
Hey! I am Stephanie M. Johnson! A native of Sumter, SC; I am an educational coach, consultant, and organizer who resides in the capital city of Columbia, South Carolina. I am certified in elementary education, administration, and also National Board certified in Early/Middle Childhood Literacy.
A proud alumna of the University of South Carolina, where I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English degree from the College of Liberal Arts, and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from the College of Education. I also received a 2nd Masters in Executive Leadership from Gardner-Webb University.
I enjoy being an educator because it encompasses the things I truly enjoy-working with students, parents, teachers, educator support professionals, families and communities; and most importantly, being an advocate for education.
I have a strong passion for educational leadership and policy. You will find me on any given day working on behalf of education.
I chose the name The Southern Educator because my learnings, teachings, and education is rooted in a foundation of Southern values and experiences in my community.
